Better Bacon is a unique, L.A.-based clothing company dedicated to supporting artists with developmental disabilities. The company's high quality apparel is inspired by developmentally disabled students at local Widney High, who created the original art featured on the clothing. This inspirational art can also be seen in music, film production, writing, and radio broadcasting - and a comic book series is currently in the making.
Better Bacon headed south to our Solana Beach studio for a photo shoot featuring next season's collection. Some of these unique designs will be showcased on the new www.betterbacon.com website, as well as videos of the artists in action. Visitors will also be able to find information on Better Bacon's mission to provide support to artists with developmental disabilities and to celebrate their creations and accomplishments.
Keep an eye out for Better Bacon's diverse clothing collection, coming soon to specialty boutiques in Los Angeles and selected stores in the US. These expressive students and their designs will also be featured on the full-featured website, which is slated to debut in early summer of 2008.
