Cuker recently teamed up with premium lifestyle and accessories brand, Nixon, to develop strategy and create a new digital retail education website. The new partnership will leverage digital to provide product-specific information that will inspire and empower specialty shops and big box Nixon retailers.
Nixon - the maker of premium watches, headphones, accessories, and apparel - focuses on quality products with functional features that are designed to support their customer’s lifestyle. Whether it’s a Bluetooth speaker designed to get sandy at the beach or a durable watch that can withstand high impact on the pavement, many Nixon products are designed with action sports in mind. These team-designed, custom-built features have helped the brand expand internationally, attracting an avant garde fashion audience as well as dominating the important skate, surf, and snow industry markets.
Nixon chose to partner with Cuker to develop a digital strategy for retail education so specialty stores, core shops, and big box retailers can be as connected to the product features and benefits as the internal Nixon product team. By creating an engaging, information-rich site the goal was to educate sales reps and empower them to best represent the product line.
The website utilizes responsive design for an optimal mobile browsing experience on smartphones, tablets, and desktops. This design allows buyers and sales reps to access product resources on the go and answer questions about the products in real-time, using their mobile device on the shop floor.
Nixon has been excited about the new, more effective format for retail education using the new website. Our next step will be partnering on an international roll out of the website in 2014.
