Leading action sports retailer partnered with Cuker to launch the website and social media strategy for their music campaign. Cuker partnered with PacSun to launch a campaign and website promoting PacSun’s involvement in the music community.
PacSun is a leading national retailer of surf, skate, and snow apparel with a popular eCommece website and stores in malls across the country. The strategic partnership with Cuker helped to expand their audience beyond the core action sports categories while staying true to their values and style.
The music campaign was focused on promoting popular and up-and-coming bands. The website featured a blog style stream of highlights in the music community, behind the scenes footage, and upcoming events. We developed a streaming music player featuring PacSun playlists, and integrated social media across the site to stimulate sharing across Facebook and Twitter. We also partnered with Bandsintown to develop an integration that promoted upcoming shows in the user’s area based on their location.
Our partnership with PacSun was extended to a digital activation for a music tour and digital activations at the U.S. Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, California.
The successful music campaign and website launch helped to engage a national audience exposing consumers to up-and-coming bands through digital. The campaign helped PacSun reach a broader audience in an authentic way, while also stimulating engagement and conversations.
