Nike Drew League

Cuker teams up with Nike Basketball to launch an award winning digital campaign to inspire the next generation of pros.

We started in South Central LA with the Drew League, started in 1973 by Alvin Wills with the mission of teaching young men and women life lessons through basketball. This year, Nike sponsored the Drew League with uniforms, recognition for the basketball league and an integrated marketing campaign. Cuker was selected to build the digital campaign including a mobile responsive website. The site featured the league profile, blog, games, schedules, photos, videos, connection with social media, and Nike product marketing.

The website is a huge improvement from the digital tools used in the past by the Drew League. It has helped connect the league to the community both locally in LA and Globally to the world of basketball. With guest appearances from pros such as Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant and Lebron James the kids were inspired, the league garnered greater recognition, and we believe there are some future pros that were touched.

It was great to be able to partner up with an Iconic and legendary brand like Nike. But even more rewarding was the approach that was taken, giving back to the roots, the people that matter, and the kids who are the future of basketball.
