Our goal was to elevate Rip Curl’s brand presentation online and drive digital business growth. The objective was to drive engagement, and grow eCommerce, branded retail, and specialty retail sales. Most importantly, we needed to create an authentic website design that connects with core surfers and stays true to Rip Curl’s values, culture, and 45+ years of rich history, while still innovating in the digital era.
Increase in Website Traffic
We began with a complete web and content strategy for the Rip Curl site. Our content approach focused on combining the perfect balance of product marketing, athlete and event marketing, and lifestyle. We wanted to showcase the aspirational life of a surfer and the products that are a part of that lifestyle. To simplify the path-to-purchase, we re-envisioned the eCommerce process and merchandising - improving the user experience and reducing drop-offs. We then launched cross channel digital marketing to drive traffic from Search, Social, and Display.
