Growth in Sales

The Approach

Cuker started by redesigning the DC Shoes website, implementing Web Cube CMS platform, integrating eCommerce, optimizing mobile user experience, and connecting social media. We then moved to launch numerous successful digital campaigns over a 6+ year partnership. Some examples of our groundbreaking work include digital campaigns for X Games and the Rob & Big and Fantasy Factory shows on MTV. We launched a Social community for DC Snowboarding. We also developed a digital launch strategy for DC’s Gymkhana campaign, featuring social media, search marketing, a microsite, and additional digital activations.

Campaign Success

Our partnership with DC Shoes fueled the brand growth using the power of digital to grow their audience, increase online sales, and drive category leadership. We helped DC Shoes and Action Sports reach a mainstream audience through our campaigns around X Games and MTV’s Fantasy Factory. Our launch campaign for the Gymkhana Video helped it earn a spot in the top 10 most viewed YouTube videos in history. Through our partnership, DC Shoes was able to achieve the position of the #1 Core Skate Footwear Brand, #2 Snowboard Brand, and build a larger mainstream audience which led to their acquisition by Quiksilver.
